Does the Yasmin BC pill work after 24 hours of taking it?

How long does it take for the Jasmin birth control pill to work. If i take it today will it be effective tomorrow?

Absolutely not.
You need to be on bc pills for one full cycle before you can count on pregnancy prevention. In your first cycle on them (your first pack) you will likely still ovulate, therefore you can definitely get pregnant.
Use condoms, etc. in your first month on the pill.
