Lee Evan - he's more mature...
Jim just reminds me of someone going to a childrens birthday party.

Lee Evans, definitely. I'd liked Jim Carrey when he was new on the scene but he's really boring now. He's the same thing time and time again. He acts the same in all his films and pulls the same faces all the time.

You can't really compare them as comedians though, can you. I liked Carrey in Liar, Liar, Dumb and Dumber and the non-humourous role in the Truman Show but he has also been in stinkers like The Cable Guy and I personally really disliked Ace Ventura (Me Myself and Irene was not great either). I have always liked Lee Evans, even in the films I've seen him in, so will plump for him as regards being more reliably entertaining

Jim Carrey used to give me the creeps, but I think his humour of late has changed.
However, for me it has to be that home grown lad Lee Evans. He needs to expand his repertoire though then he may join the line up as one of our all time greats in the world of comedy.
