Hi you can fix an extra cable to your electric supply in the loft. Then run it to the place you are fixing the fan.Switch off the electric intill you have completed the job.Good Luck

in the UK:

you'll need to comply with part p notification and the latest regs. A new fan is a notifiable extension to a circuit.

Assuming you know that, you'll probably know how to wire it up.

Find a permanent lighting live, run it to a junction box, run a pair down to your switch.

Run whatever the instructions say to your fan. This depends on if its got a fan and lights, and if its got speed control.

To be honest,by your question it sound like you need someone to show you how. There are too many variables to give you an ABC "how to" with the info you provided.

If you do it yourself you are voilating British law. You have to get a registered electrician.
Mind you, if you really wanna do it yourself, either go to college and learn how to or say "Hi" to Jesus for me!
