I have a few ghost shrimp in an aquarium and was wondering what kind of live plants I should use? Preferably something that is relatively easy to take care of, like amazaon sword or maybe some micro sword?

Try AMAZON or JAVA MOSS, both very easy to take care and grows beautifully even in low light conditions.

The shrimp won't care which plants you get them, it's more up to you how you want to aquascape and how much light each plant needs. I always like marimo balls that the shrimp can climb on (they always look funny sitting on top of a moss ball). Stuff gets caught in the marimo balls and the shrimp love to sit there picking at it. Mainly, get a nice assortment of plants--some tall, some medium and some low ground cover, maybe some driftwood with javamoss and java fern growning on it.

Ghost shrimp aren't algae eaters, they eat detritous and actually love meaty fish foods like bloodworms, so they won't do much for your plants.

However, if you want plants, there are lots to choose from. What is your wattage? I'll name some plants that are for low to medium lighting, so 1-2 watts per gallon.

Java moss

All of those should be pretty easy to care for. If you want some creatures to 'take care' of your plants, consider a school of oto cats, cherry red shrimp, or amano shrimp.

Bring those ghost shrimp right over so I can feed them to my fish!
