I'm trying to figure out whether I should underline the title of a play, put it in quotes, and it needs to be in the MLA style. Help please?

(Note: The portions below, in capital letters, should actually be UNDERLINED):

Plays:
CATS. By Andrew Lloyd Webber. Based on T. S. Eliot's OLD POSSUM'S BOOK OF PRACTICAL CATS. Dir. Trever Nunn. New London Theatre, London. 11 May 1981.

Titles of articles (in periodicals):
Booth, Wayne C. "Kenneth Burke's Way of Knowing." CRITICAL INQUIRY 1 (1974): 1-22.

Titles of articles (in books):
O'Connor, Flannery. "The Life You Save May Be Your Own." THE REALM OF FICTION: SEVENTY-FOUR STORIES. Ed. James B. Hall and Elizabeth C. Hall. 3rd ed. New York: McGraw, 1977. 479-88.

In sum, titles of books and plays should be underlined. Titles of articles are enclosed between quotation marks.

I personally think that underlining looks better. Go bold and large font too, but keep title on no more than three lines.
