i think its wrong for the west and east to point the finger at each other about who is more oppressed. it might be two different types of oppression but its still oppression.

Seriosly, how could someone claim that men are 'more oppressed' in the West? My god, people. Wake up!

I agree that there is opression of women in both the east and west. In the west it's more along the social lines ... in the east it's both social and legal... But us westerners do like to think that we've come farther than we actually have..

i could like some examples the place substitute has fairly befell from interior of a rustic. there is a few, yet they are commonly a reaction to assist from exterior. Even the fall of a few minor soviet republics basically befell because of the fact the régime became into moribund and countless surrounding countries had already replaced. The Islamic worldwide is unlike this. Oppression is saved afloat with the aid of stealthy cultural conditioning. The tribal 'cultural norms' subsumed into Islam should not be secure with the aid of so-noted as 'non secular freedom'; it relatively is disingenuous to even call it that. Cultural relativism motives people to tutor an unwitting blind eye because of the fact they are terrified of admitting a troublesome actuality: Islam won't quit its deeply-rooted mediaeval approaches devoid of exterior impression and a flush of recommendations which will oppose it.

Women are more oppressed in the east, while men are more opressed in the west. That's why western men and eastern women are a match made in heaven, so to speak. On the other hand, western women and eastern men would probably strangle each other to death.

I agree.

Western oppression is more insidious and hidden in my opinion. The Western world thinks its farther along in progress than it really is.

You are right.

We should work with each other, not against each other.

Let's stop fighting, stop hating, stop blaming.
