Bush needs and seeks some kind of long-life approval and affirmation from the whole world. It's definitely NOT about giving freedom to Iraqis. Bush needs something in return obviously.
He just went to Asia for something in return as well afterwards. It's all about eye for an eye regulations: ''I do this to you, what you're gonna give to me after?''
It's all about struggle for oil and power (are we blind here?) The real abuse of power and assault of democracy.
Let's see what kind of freedom he will give the Iraqis. Let's see if he can keep his words or not. He is the perfect figure of violent Christian nowadays.

He certainly does not. Oil is the answer and invasion of more weaker countries. However Bush is smart enough to prove otherwise while he does things that aren't unfortunately proven in the media. I personaly think he's selfish ( and to all Bush supporters I do not insult you, I just wish that you seek truth for youself:) ) He is selfish because 1st its the oil as i mentioned above, and 2nd he's putting his own american troops to danger. Iraqies rebel cuz its their right to defend themselves and their country. So its doing no good to Iraqies and no good to american troops and their family. May god be with you all :*

the SOLE reason we are in Iraq is because of Israeli pressure for us to do so.... nothing else. there is so much Jewish money in Washington it's pathetic and basically is conspiracy.
no WMD, are the Iraqi's free? are you all so blinded by media bull-oney?
our USA citizens are dying so Israel can feel safe from Iraq. next will be Iran, another country that is a threat to Israel and NOT the USA. think of it, we destroyed Iraq in the early 90's basically overnight... do you think they would ever be a threat to us? no! and it's been admitted they had nothing to do with 9/11.
Israel isn't even a country! they are living and settling as terrorist occupiers! they have murdered 30 times more Palestinians than have attacked them! have you seen that on tv lately?
please, PLEASE... humor me and open your minds for just one moment and not believe what FOX and News Corp tells you, do a little research and you'll see the biggest threat to USA peace is our support of Israel. just listen to anyone outside of the USA for a moment and just listen and not shut your minds down like a little child that just does what it's told. don't be suckered into believing that if we don't support Israel it's anti-semitic, that's crap... that is manipulation of your mind... we are losing a lot because of our support of Israel.
right now there is a huge growth of people that are realizing the truth, thanks to the internet people can see what is going on thru media and blogs outside of the bombardment of the USA media.
this is all true and factual, it isn't a form of hate speech or anything like that, these are FACTS!!!
Israel has nuclear weapons, they have chemical weapons... and they are not a threat to peace in the middle east? people, use your brains... learn the truth. don't be blind and deaf. read your history for God's sake.
those who do not know history are condemned to repeat it.

I think so, I think he is there for personal gain, it has been proved that there was no WMD's, no link between Iraq and Al Queida, there is really no good excuse for over throwing another nations government no matter how bad we think it is. To answer your question I think it is not about oil as most do, but I think it is about the price of oil. If you created turmoil in the mid east then the price and profits of oil skyrocket, which they did. Bush and his family and many of his friends are oil investors, many in the military industrial complex are repuglican supporters. I think it came out of the not so secret meeting that occurred early in the presidents first term, with the big oil company's executives that was suppose to set our energy policy. I think the did that alright, they do not care that they are bringing down the world economy, it is all about profits. This I think is the reason that we went into Iraq.

Yes. It has made al Qaida focus there. It has kept worse terrorist attacks from north America and Europe. We sure aren't getting more oil out of Iraq now. It has prevented a very rich, super destructive dictator from constructing weapons of mass destruction which would have been used without conscience.
Iraqis are free of Saddam and they have voted in a government, but they have terrible violence in certain areas and huge unemployment.

Our Father, in Jesus' name I lift up our president to You. I know that our leader's heart is in Your hand, so I ask you to guide the head of our nation in the way You would have him to go. Father, I pray that You would surround our president with wise counsel-man and women of integrity who place Your agenda and the good of this nation above their own and whose motives are for that which is right. I pray that You would give our leader discernment, understanding and knowledge so that our nation may know stability internally and abroad. I give thanks for our president according to Your Word and thank You for working in and through His leadership so that we might lead peaceable lives in godliness and honesty . Amen
