Let them know all the bad things that you have found out about the man....
Most Parents want the "perfect" man for thier little girl, and if some one is less than perfect, they wont give them the time of day...
But, if the man has the Parents fooled, then there isnt a thing you can do about it, tell them that you "know" some things about him and dont want a thing to do with him, as he is no longer your "type"...

My dear, parents will be parents, no matter what. They always think that they know what's best for you and will do everything that they feel is good for you. There is no way we can just tell them to back off and let you run your life just like that. Discussing this with them may help though, rather than having a confrontation with them. They are after all, your parents! If you are old enough and have shown them the maturity, i'm sure they will understand and stop being your matchmaker!

tell ur parents that u know u are big enough to know whats good for u
honestly speaking, parents are only a guide for u in ur life
sure, they can tell u what is good for u but they do not have the right to control u once 21(total freedom)
they can give u their preferences, but the decision making still rounds up to u

Tell your parents directly and straight forward. Tell them, you are big enough to make decision for yourself and answer your own responsibility. This is a space age century, no more " those will the days ".

Oh thats easy. Once you start telling them how to live their lives and who they should see or not. When they start complaining, you just explain to them that its their choice. Maybe they will realize the same, and explain to them that they brought you up very well so that ur able to make the right choices about who you want to marry or not.
