Bush protects no one; our military protects the contractors for one fifth the wage of the person they must defend with their lives. We were told private contractors could do what was formerly done by the military cheaper and more efficiently. This is obviously wrong because the purpose of a corporation is to maximize profits and if profits come from war it is in the interest of the corporations to perpetuate war. The longer the war lasts the larger the profits. It is immoral and inefficient to profit from the death of our soldiers and citizens of another country.

Anything can happen in Iraq because the Americans are in control. The Americans can get contracts at will with the Iraqi government that they established.
