I have full UK Cat B, BE, C1, C1E, D1, D1E car driving licence. Can I legally ride a scooter on the roads?

As you passed your test before February 2001, you can ride a moped on the roads. It can only be up to 50cc and be limited to 30mph top speed.

I'm pretty sure the licence you have covers you as a provisional for anything up to 125cc for an unlimited time, unlike the newer drivers who have to pass test within 2 yrs. You cant carry passengers and you have to display 'L' plates. Its something of a grey area so even the local police may not give you the correct information. You may want to look up RAC/ACU training schemes and get their opinion

hi,you have to take a test, its called a, cbt test.then you can only drive up to 125cc.then you will have to take a proper motor cycle test for a bigger one.(the test is really easy)
