i asked this guy out for a drink and he said yeah,give me a call when your next in town (we live in differrent towns).
so, whenever im out in town i let him know and he does the same.we have only kissed,even though ive stayed at his place a few times.he wanted to take things a little further sexually but i didnt.he still wants to see me.i know this was giving out the wrong signals.
this arrangement has been going on for months now.why wont he ask me out on a date?
is he confued by my mixed signals?
he knows i ended my 6 year relationship with my fiance 8 months ago.he does ask about my ex.
is he concerned about my ex?
my ex has moved away though.
is he shy?
hes 29,single and has never been married before.he has his own place and his career is sorted.wouldnt he be looking to settle down?

maybe he thinks that wen u go out for drinks they are the dates?
maybe he wants to take things slow to make sure u are over ur ex, as it was a long relationship.
ask him how he feels about you

If I was you, the best policy is honesty call him up and go for a drink and say you are very attracted to him, but you are unsure of how he sees you, does he just want a friendship or occasional night out like you have been doing. Then if he says he won't to leave it as it is, then the ball is in your court and its up to you if you wish to continue this one sided affair.
But there again he may surprise you and say he would like to see you more as a couple.
Unless you make the move he may never ask you out, as you say he may be shy. But if you do this at least you will know where you stand. Sheila.

it is time you had a straight talk with him. Why dont you ask him out on a date and get things straight, most guys get very confused by signals and appreciate straight talking.

if he wanted a permenant relationship he would tell you he just wants fun and thinks you do too and probably doesn't want to be a rebound thing
