Coos are her form of anything at this age. The fact that she is trying to make any sounds other the ability to cry is good for 2 months. Happy normal babies are usually pretty quiet and just coo and can even try to mimic sounds around this time.

there is no written in the textbook time for a baby to do anything. Every baby does things at different time. my neice is almost walkin and she hasnt even crawled yet. and she is 8 almost 9 months. She also just started learning how to mock people, like when i move my head from side to side you does it to, or when i make a noise at her she does it back now, she just learned how to smack her lip and grunt when she knows it is time to eat. She is also just started getting teeth and can say mama, dada, and bye bye. and she has learned how to wave in the last week. She just started sitting up by herself and that was almost 3 months ago. every baby developes in deifferent ways, she will learn to do it on her own time. you just have to be patient with her. if she is trying to do it but cant quit get it out then she is trying to work it up. it takes alot for a baby to know exactly how to make noise. she will get it and probably soon if she is trying. you have nothing to worry about.

A baby doesn't normally laugh or giggle until they're around 4 months old. Don't worry.

Babies all develop at their own pace, it doesn't mean that they are going to be any slower than the next. I have 4 and they all did things at very different ages don't be concerned that you baby doesn't follow the text book "normal" because there is no such thing.

My daughter is 11 weeks. She giggled in her sleep twice. I've read they should laugh by now, maybe we're just not funny?

She's just practicing for Wheel of Fortune. She'll laugh when she meets Pat. He's funny that way.
