I guess it is easier to make friends you can't see because then a lot of things don't hinder you to be friendly with that person. What I'm saying is that on the web, you get to make friends because of who they are and not what they look like, Whereas when you meat a person,its their looks or what they are wearing that decides whether you befriend them or not. That is really sad but part of life And I feel people should start looking at inward goodness and not outward goodness because that does not last at all. I hope this answers your question.

I think some people feel safer when they can hide behind a screen name, and feel more confident about themselves. Perhaps that's why it is easier to make friends online. And there's less committment for any committment-phobes. It's easier, lazier, adds a little mystery (who knows if dan, 54 isn't really Kelly, 21...) I just think with new technology people are losing alot of their basic social skills and spend more time with their "best friends" on the computer.

I would love to make friends. To me getting more points is getting embarrassing - meaning that I spent my time in front of the PC. To me a friendship is worth far more then 2 points
