Trespassing isn't a felony, is it? What kind of trouble could you get in? Let's say someone sneaks onto a little ski hill at night and sleds down it. Would you go to jail? Have tens of thousands in fines?

Tresspassing is a crime because it is an intrusion into the property of another person which is punishable under the Penal Law.

depends what state you are in, the fines keep going up, the first time you would not go to jail, probably a smack on the wrist after that depends on the owner, cop judge and your attitude
