ON the earth- it;s a trick question people. Most grains of sand are IN the earth, but there are loads of ants ON the earth. I can see the earth from here and I see 7 ants and only 3 grains of sand. If you extrapolate that then there are more than twice as many ants ON the earth than grains of sand. The ocean is not ON the earth so sand at the bottom of the ocean doesn't count (but ants evolved in the sea anyway so maybe there are still some lazy ones down there? There must be quite a few of them there by now since they've had all this time with nothing to do).
So, in conclusion. Yes.

Obviously yes. There are probably more grains of sand at a single beach than ants in the world.

YES it,s true that there r many ants.but they cannot out number the grains of sands, because 7/10 of the earth is covered with sea and the sea bed also have sand but no ants.

Lets all start glueing grains of sand to ants, that way when they all have one we will know the answer. I`m off to get a pot of glue and some tweezers now......
