All children develop at their own pace. You shouldn't be alarmed his teeth will come in and if there late its OK My niece didn't get her first tooth until she was 14 months! I have 3 girls and one boy and my boy was quite late too. If the issue still bothers you ask your pediatrician. GL with your little guy ; 0)

My oldest finally got teeth right at one year old. My dentist says this can be a blessing because enamel has more time to form.
So I wouldn't worry If I were you, but if you do worry or if none start coming in in the couple of months, you could go to a pediatric dentist and get an X-ray to check.

BTW I have a friend with a daughter who has no lost baby teeth at 8 - so they did an X-ray and found there are no adult teeth, so your fears are not unfounded. Doc says her situation is really unusual.

My oldest did not get any teeth until he was almost 14 months old. The later they get their baby teeth normally the later they get their adult teeth and that is a good thing. Enjoy those toothless grins!! Do not worry. My second got teeth at 4 months and my third at 10 months. Getting teeth late is not a sign of a developmental delay.

I wouldn't worry unless your doctor is worried. Each child gets their teeth at different times. My 8 1/2 month old daughter just got her first tooth about a week ago. My sister didn't get her first tooth until she was 18 months! Babies don't use their teeth to chew until their molars come in, so I wouldn't worry about it just now.

Don't worry yet. My daughter was well over a year before she got teeth. And they came in very nicely.

Hi there,

Whilst I wouldn't stress yet ( as there could be a simple answer) I would most surely seek medical advice. This way you will feel reassured and if there is something amiss it is being picked up early enough.

Good luck
