I have beeen in a 2 yr relationship with my b/f and we live together. For the last 6-7 months I have been uninterested in him sexually. I can't pin-point what triggered this, other than we bought a house together around that time. He is really hurt by this and it has caused a severe rift in our relationship. Is it normal to lose interest in sex when you love the person you are with? Any suggestions (nothing dirty) on how to get back to normal?

There's nothing wrong. Sometimes in life your hormones get unbalanced by stress or whatnot (by moving in with someone, buying a house, etc.) which leads to being uninterested in sex. Explain to him that your just not in interested in sex, not sex with him. Try keeping your intimacy (affection other than sex) going. Don't just cut him off cold turkey.

I would try regulating your diet, trying some breathing or calming exercises, and maybe even doing some of the things that use to turn you on before you hit this speed bump. Even if you are not genuinely in the mood, I would at least make an effort to relieve some of his stress.

Good Luck.

Personally, if you live together for 2 yrs relationship, the house I'm sure is not the issue. It is the inside feeling you both must discuss, openly and honestly. This will bring out the best in your relationship. Love does not consist in gazing , but in looking in the same direction. Surely, every house where love abides, relationship is sweet and surely sex is great. Just learn love by loving.

Best Wishes & Good Luck!

im currently in 1 same as urs
i love my gf but then, i dont have the craving in me to want to have sex
sex is only a minor part of a relationship, not a must
u can marry someone and have no child because u dont want to
it isn't wrong, find time to sit down and talk to ur bf, he will understand...
