I was doing arobic excersizes with my boyfriend 1 in the morning lol and he accidentally kick the $hit out of my pinky finger! It felt like it "popped" and i think i heard a noise (couldn't really hear over the corny excersize music) Well i just put some ice on it and finished my workout. A couple hours later....It really hurts to move my finger (or the surronding fingers) ouch.....what should i do? will it stop hurting soon? :-(

You should definitely get it checked out to make the bone doesn't need to be set.If its broken it may not heal right. For right now you should run to local drug store grab a small size finger splint and keep it immobilized..if this isn't possible some Popsicle sticks or something of that nature can be used with some med tape. Ice it if you need to to get swelling down and take some ibuprofen or alieve that will help with inflammation and pain. Hope you feel better girl!

The finger may be dislocated, perhaps. Continue to Ice the finger and the adjoining fingers. You can get an inexpensive metal splint at your local Pharmacy. Restrain the finger for a couple of days....see how the finger feels.

The second option is a visit to the Physician, x-rays and a possible cast.

I want you to look great on New Years Eve...so, do something very soon.

Best to you and Happy New year.

use something like a popcicle stick and gauze to stablize your finger and go see the doc if it still hurts in a couple of days. Painful to move and hurts other fingers could be a break. Go see the doc.

It'll probably slowly hurt less and less until it stops hurting at all. Try to keep busy and ignore it as much as possible! (I sure hope it's nothing serious, 'cause according to your 360 profile you're a beautiful lady. I'd hate to think you have a bum little finger!)

he could have pinched a nerve in your hand by spraining or possibly slightly dislocating the bones around the nerve. i would think its going to get better after a week or so. but I've heard people who say after a random injury like that their affected body part was never quite the same. if you have good insurance (really good) i would say to just go to the doc and get a quick x-ray just to make sure.

Maybe wrap something around it so it has some support and to keep it from getting hurt again.
