Axl has been working on Chinese Democracy for 12 years now. It may never be released. If something comes out, I would say 2007-ish. Velvet Revolver's next release is due out 2007, so I wouldn't put it past Axl to release something around the same time just to be a dick.

GNR's website still says it's coming out this year, with no official release date. I've also heard though that it's getting pushed back to early next year. It is apparently completed though. Wikipedia's got a whole page on it that's pretty interesting.
