He is worth 32.4 million after the last movie. That sounds like a lot, until you consider that fact that Jim Carry gets 20 mill a movie. The reason Daniel doesn't have more is because of a contract he signed before the 1st movie. The money he has is mainly from promotional sales of toys, games, etc, not his agreed upon wage.
For the 1st movie, he got just under 1 mill. The other 3 grossed him 2 mill a piece, but the real cash crop was in the toys and promotions.
The new movie is guaranteed to gross him much more, because his original contract was for 3 movies, so this latest installment was negotiable.
