myra..as usual you have a bad mouth to critize people, you dont even know the meaning of 'question/opinion', you turn my words and make it sound like hatred...if you are so religious why arent you wearing a 'scarf'...i dont see it in your avatar, and if you are so religious, does it teach you to talk in such way and use bad vulgar words..i have seen many of your comments where u use words like, idiot, retard, etc..does that make you a good muslim? Practice what u preach..

the government must be going nuts... it not fair to apply to non-muslim. (it’s fair if the muslim want to cover up every each and single piece of flash but think of those non-muslim) now it the 21th century and i still don’t understand why the government have this kind of mind. there's other solution then insist women to dress decently.
as a citizen you cant do much and just obey the rules and for the future election place your vote wisely.
anyway there will be lot more stupidity surprise m'sian will get from the government. just wait and see

this is all political games, and most politicians are hypocrite. this is not the right approach. I believe education is the key, not punishment. it may take times but this is the way.
edit:
wow! I got many thumbs up!
for those who angry with sarah, pls read again her question openly WITHOUT PREJUDICE.
basically sarah is for decent dress (not against the rule). she also wish that this rule should also be imposed in other states especially in KL as many girls in KL dress up indecently
I'm also for decent dress but I disagree with sarah on the way its implemented. I would say that it should start with education
btw, BO$$ and Sarah is NOT the same person with 2 ID's
Sarah I gave u thumbs up!

yeah i totally agree with macvantech..whats up with you spreading hatred among this travel malaysia site???
you should ashame of your self by doing this..have you ever seen any other people besides you mocking and making jokes about religion in this travel section?? no, right? so, stop it...not that i support whatever those religious ppl back there in Kelantan, but this is just not the way to express your dissapointment on other religion..
by the way, personally i think..what is there anything to loose anyway..they just want their people there to wear decently not like scantly clad cheap Ho like in KL..is that bad?? to train people to be decent and good??
what if one day, you have your daughter who wears like a prostitute and laughing out loud in the public?? how do you feel then??

Dear Sarah,
there were a lot of things happened and you are not happy with that. Malaysia will not improve if you are only use this channel to voice up your dissatisfaction through here. if you love this country and would like to change something in the country, you should stand up and do something for an issue which concern you much for society. example, join activities to create awareness of decent dress.
this is travel segment and should be somewhere where we as Malaysian should help travelers to solve their inquiry about traveling in Malaysia. as virtual Malaysia Ambassador in yahoo answer, we should promote Malaysia as destination for people to know us as friendly nation and not talk about political issues everyday.
there are other categories available for the issue you discussed, example politics and government segment and beauty and style.
i used to spend my time to chat about political issue until i found an international student organization.through this organization,i spent all my save and time to travel around to tell people in the world that Malaysia is friendly and beautiful nation to show that i love Malaysia. i brought Malaysia traditional costumes along with me and shared with my friends from different countries.i prepared delicious Malaysia meals for my foreign friends. i learned in foreign land in order to bring new idea back to improve Malaysia society in future.
Many of my foreign friends came to visit Malaysia and some would like to do it in future. one of my French friend chose MAS to travel from Paris to Sydney instead of other airlines. one of reason she chose MAS was because MAS's flight enable her to travel in Malaysia. it could be done because the flight will stop in KLIA for transit.
this is how i can change my beloved society with my little effort. what about you?
i would send this as personal mail to you; however, there is no other channel for me to send it to you.
have a nice day
