Question confusing. If you are asking how long it takes to heal, approx. 6 weeks or longer, depending on where the break is, if it was a compound fracture or if it requires internal fixation with plates or screws. Arms heal faster than legs cause you don't have to bear weight on them. If you are asking how long does it take to treat a broken arm, waiting for triage and in the waiting room takes longest. If the bone is not protruding, the triage nurse may just put ice on it and a sling if the circulation is OK. Unless it's a treat to your life or limb, you are "triagable" which means you may have to wait a little while. Once you are being treated, you will need xrays, then if it's a simple fracture the doctor may just splint the arm and make you a referral to an orthopoedist for a cast or follow up. If its requiring immediate casting, they may call in an orthopoedist to cast it at that time. I've seen them do either/or. Total time once you get seen by the Dr., xrays, splinting/casting can take several hours. If you require surgery for plates/screws/realignment with casting, these are done on outpatient surgery basis. When I worked in OR, most went home same day, unless it was extensive with external fixators and such, then you may stay overnight or 2 days max.

It's usually a couple of months before it's fully healed. Usually 6-8 weeks in a cast and another month in a splint. And physical therapy after the cast. It's not bad though, it goes by fast, believe me.

long enough to put a cast on it, if the bone came through the skin its more complicated and takes surgery and likely a few days in the hospital.

it depends upon the type of fracture. if it is hairline crack, they will discharage in 2 or 3 days.

if it is communited fracture you may require to stay for 15 days or 21 days. and afterwards you may require to go for physiotherapy.
