I didn't consider this heroic, but perhaps it is in a way. I quit a job that I loved to take care of my mother-in-law, who was diagnosed with Altzheimer's Disease. It took it's toll on my family and my health. But, yes, I'd probably do it again, we were able to keep her in her home until she died, we didn't have to put her into a nursing home.

when I worked for a community center, an older guy had a heart attack or some thing interior the pool. the female on responsibility on the pool replaced into able to get him out of the water, yet did not comprehend CPR. She sounded the alarm and after calling for an ambulance, I ran right down to the pool. I did CPR on him till the EMT's got here and he survived. i do not comprehend how heroic it is, yet i replaced into satisfied I had CPR preparation.

Had kids.
That may not sound heroic,but having kids is scary.
One time I saw a lady pulling some small kids in a wagon.It got away from her.I ran after it.As it started to turn over I caught two kid's heads in my hands.There heads would have hit the concrete.As I set them up,they looked at me with out crying I smiled at them and they smiled back.That got me a little choaked up.
Of course I wouldn't have seen it all if I hadn't been looking at the pretty woman pulling them.This is one time being a guy paid off.

Once when i was taking a walk i heard someone scream help and i wanted to know what was happening, so i find where the scream came and i find out man trying to rape young woman.I took away his knife and broke his arm.I hold him on ground till police came.I almost end up in prison.Still i would do it again.

I took a knife for my kids.
