We gave our families double picture frames. On one side had a new, fabulous picture of our son and on the other side we had a beautiful piece of paper made to fit the frame that said - This side reserved for the arrival of your new grandchild, to be born in the month of June, 2004, weight - A lot, height - Long, Color of hair - none, etc. Just put some fun stuff on it. My family was so surprised and they thought it was a really great way to break the news to everyone. It was hard keeping the secret for a couple of months, but we knew the element of surprise would be worth it! And it was!!! Best of luck to you and your family!

I did a 8x10 phot collage of events our family did throughout the year. each was captioned "California - July 2005" "Brenden turns 6" .. etc
Then put a little blue baby drawing on a pink background with the due date and wrote "Finding our we are having a new baby approx april 27, 2006"
Another idea that would be an actual gift could be a photo album. Then print a card that says "This spot reserved for baby 'Your last name'" due 7-21-2007 and such and put it in the first photo slot. Better put a pic of child no 1 in there too so they dont feel left out

Depending on how old your other child is, they might want to be included on the telling of the families. Get a t-shirt that says: "I'm going to be the big brother/sister." Bring the shirt with you to the house. When you are opening gifts, take them into the other room (say you neeed their help with a present you left in the other room) and have them put that shirt on and walk back into the room and wait for everyone to notice it. Congrats and good luck!

First off, I would like to say congratulations on your upcoming baby! As for the gift, I would suggest getting a personalized bib with the words "No. 2" on it. It would make a funny and cute present. You could also do the same for other infant apparel.
Good luck and Merry Christmas!

If you have a printout of the baby's sonogram, you could buy a cute frame and wrap it.
