Biblically men are over us. That's the only way it will work.
If we don't live like God want's us to we will never have peace. It would be like everyone runnning red lights and crashing into each other. There has to be a plan.

Women who are not very feminine find this less a problem than feminine women do, but if I could change one thing by, say, magic I would make all men and all women - for once and for all - get it through their skulls that because someone is smaller in size or has a softer looking face or a smaller voice it does not bloody mean they're stupid or weak. I would make all people get it through their skulls that there is such a thing as some women who are smarter or stronger or more sensible than some men even if those women are smaller, have little voices, and have ladylike personalities!
There is a hidden, day-to-day, crap that many women have to deal with; and this ignorance/bias is far more dangerous, damaging, and insidious than any glass ceiling in any workplace is.

I think women should be treated exactly like men, we live in a modern (supposedly sophisticated) society so I can see why there's any discrimination. In the long run I think women are always going to be treated as objects no matter what we do.

Stop the sexual encounter play-by-plays with your friends in public. If you are at home or alone with your friends go ahead and talk about it, but when you are in a restaurant or the mall or whatever, I think it's really disrespectful to everyone around you to talk about your "bizness" within their hearing. Both men and women do this. Men do it to prove their "studs" and women do it to prove they're sexually "liberated." All it proves is that you're uncouth and have no manners. You want respect...sharing you're sexcapades isn't the way to get it.

I would change the way most men try to teach women things. If the DVD player isn't working men tell us that they will come show us how to work it. I don't need to be taught. I have a college degree and a brain to go with it!

(some) Men should stop thinking/talking of women as pleasure objects, and start value them as persons.
(some) Women should stop feeling inferior, and start thinking that men have the same responsibilities/rights/obligations than them.
The problem won't stop until both sides are willing to be 'equal' (as far as the term can be realistically used).

I would want men to stop treating women chivalrously, so that they have to start picking up the slack, and not acting like spoiled, pampered, princesses.

I do not think men and women are equal. I think men have a responsibility to women. I think our strengths are in different areas. Who wants a world orchard filled with nothing but oranges. How boring. How untrue.
