Well we can see what the drop actually did, how ricky hit back at them. Cant affoard to drop such catches mate, else u gonna go down under.

Why only blame Giles.
Yes, he dropped Ricky which would have put Aussies in some trouble. I do not think they would have lost. The way Clarke and Hussey played that they would ensured a respectable total.
But what happened in the 2nd innings, when england batted. All batsmen failed.

While England would have been saved from the humiliating defeat if the Catch has been dropped, one cannot consider that if the catch would have been taken England would have won the match the way the match progressed and Australia performed in the 2nd innings.

it is true
giles played crap and if there was a worst player of the match award, he would probably win it

but i dont think he shouldered the loss for the whole team
the whole team collapsed in the second innings
