I get emails from someone regularly that I don't know who they are and I don't want to ask for fear of insulting them.

Best way is to BLOCK it as SPAM...
Even if u do venture to know, u will get their username - doubt it would be a real name - coz most people don't use their names while creating IDs...
U may ask them politely,,, coz u forgot or confusing with someone or....

Do a yahoo or google search of the screenname and you'll see blogs and posts for stuff, that might help you figure out who it is. But other than that there's no way. Did you really even use your real name and identifying info when you made your SN? Probably not.

I think you are getting some SPAM mails mostly advertisements attaches and some intruders with strange files, look into names if you don't know any of them don't open attached or open them ... sometimes it's not possible to know who is who and insulting wont work with any SPAM.

another advice is to minimize your registration on other partiy sites, they will in a way expose your mail to other mail hungery spamers, if you have to do so I think if you make two mails one SPAM ready and another for real communication with real people.
