The thing with chocolate is its filled with water and fats, when water cools it expands, if you keep chocolate in the fridge and move it to a warmer area after you may notice a moisture buildup on the chocolates surface, this is caused by the chocolate contracting, all it does is make the chocolate a little more brittle but it is still ok to store warm.
