This is partially true...tight fitting underwear decrease testicular motility and reduce amount of sperm production. But it does not hinder sexual activity, in many cases it may encourage both erections and sexuality. However, if you are attempting to impegnate your wife, boxers are better. Also the confined space in tight fitting underwear are also destructive to sperm because of temperature. Maoris in New Zealand used to bathe in Hot Springs as a means of birth control. You will hear many ideas but these are from a physician.

If only, I'm a brief dude and I have no problems, u know... so impotence is a genetic thing i think more than it is environmental... but if you are afraid .. go commando

the issue is sperm count - which is definitely affected by undergarments which hold the balls close to the body - they get too warm and the sperm die
this has nothing to do with whether you can perform, ok?

sorry im a woman, jocky shorts can keep your testicles up near your body so that the sperm get cooked especially in hot weather, boxer shorts let things hang better and get more air flow so they are perferred if you are having trouble making someone pregnant.

along with being uncomfortable as hell they can cause impotence so it is said. Go with the boxers or boxer briefs

yes its true. tight briefs makes us uncomfortable. even i had the same problem before. later i started using boxers, and now its fine with me.

try to wear loose underwear, heat and pressure to kill sperm cells. of course, your body will reproduce new sperm.
