I mean, really -- is there an award? A giant gold plaque that says "Best Answers!" that I can show off to my family? Or is the reward simpler, sweeter...? I've helped someone today. What a sweet reward... How 'bout a little cash for great, sensitive, and detailed answers? Seriously, Yahoo -- where are the shiny gold coins?

What is your reward when you help a friend in need? What is the value you place on a human life? If you want monetary gains for trying to help people, then go and do a course and get paid for helping people. There are some really distraught people who have no-one they can turn to for help, and if you have something that may be able to help them, then you might just say something to save their lives. You may never know, but if you dont give it your best shot, then you may as well not even answer.
