How is this math? Maybe science, like astrology or whatever the study of the sky is or something...

the outermost layer of the earth, the crust, is made up of rock, and it does not significantly react with space shuttles upon launch. A space shuttle is so small in comparison to the earth that it makes no detectable difference.
