your animals are pooping on their property... There are probably millions of people who walk their dogs at any given time, but if you say your neighbor threw poop on your door, they assume it was your animal... If you say someone hates your cats and poisoned or stole them, they assume they are pooping on their property>?

I guess because it is the most common problem, that ,and nuisance barking..People always assume the worst..It is harder to understand that the neighbors are just plain jerks! lol

My neighbor had a problem with our Emu (giant bird) just because it 'might' get through the fence and attack her ( it was very tame) She complained all the time that she didn't want that 'thing' living near her, even though we were on a farm..go figure..

if a person allows their pets to run unchecked and invade other peoples property, then that is probably why the neighbors threw the poop. however, if the animals do not run loose and mess up someone elses property, then you can report your neighbor to the authorities.
in NH it is legal to shoot a dog for destruction of private property. including urinating on bushes/plants. however, it's encouraged to file a couple of reports against the dog and owners first.
so if this complaint is against your pets, you should restrain them from messing up your neighbors yards and out of curiosity find out what the rules in your town are for people protecting their yards against destructive animals. and if these are your pets and your violating a leash law, you don't have my sympathy.

Sadly some people simply may not like -you- and your animals are a way for them to attack you.

I have a friend who fosters all sorts of animals and her neighbor doesn't like her, because of her menagerie, and constantly accuses her animals of any destruction to his property. He once claimed that one of her guinea pigs escaped and punctured his inflatable pool.

because people tend to not look beyond their noses. assuming things is not going to make it true. when you say that a person has a problem with your animals then maybe you could state what the problem is before they get to ask. then you won't have to be annoyed with idiots.
