This year is extra special to me. It's my sons first Christmas, and our first Christmas as a mummy and a daddy. I want it to be so special, I know that he won't remember it as everybody keeps telling me, but I will! I have bought all my presents now and just need to wrap them. The decs are coming out of the loft on the weekend and then I am going to work out how to stop my son from climbing up the tree!

i hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too
Normally my husband and I would go to my mum's and have a really lovely family christmas. However this year we are staying at home and it's just going to be the two of us. We'll probably if the weather is nice take the dog for an extra long walk have a leasurely lunch and then snuggle in front of the open fire.
Really looking forward to my first christmas in my own home.

And a Happy Christmas to you and all who read this!
Christmas means everything from pies to puddings, gammon to turkey, and any other edible that can not outrun my sister in law, the original Mad cook.
Probably start seeing friends Christmas eve and not stop until late Christmas day, with some friends joining family at my Brother's house for one of the big feasts in mid afternoon.
I guess it is rather bland, compared to what some do, but it fits!
Joy to the WORLD!
and Peace to all.

As a Pagan Hedgewitch, I will be celebrating the solstice on the 22 with some mulled wine or cider, a balefire in the garden and of course fellow witches.
Although I am a Pagan, I still have a tree with lights etc and my wife and I exchange gifts etc. We have a lovely time and hope you do too.

And to you too! I'm the cook this year as my wife is a Nurse and is working on Christmas Day. Myself and the kids usually go to her ward on Christmas Day to help make things special for the patients she cares for (mostly bone injuries and chronic bone diseases). It makes things nice for everyone actually, it's a lovely and special day usually and it makes me appreciate just how lucky I am and how very hard my wife and those in her profession work!
