the minority is the majority in all democratic countries.
While governement officals are elected to represent them those same officals tow the party line unless they want to be demoted so to speak.
so if the party line does not agree with your own views who are they representing.
I will tell you who the minority- themeselves and those companies/ individuals that help pay their wages with kick backs and incentives.
democracy has long since stopped being about the people, it is now about earning a nice big politicians wage and being a yes man to the party leader. when was the last time you saw an honest airing of opinions within a political party?
when it comes to the cruch the people should have the right to veto key issues and approve those that are in the interest of the community.
I know i am carrying on here but seriously I know that politics is a tool but it is evermore useless in todays society.
once again my thought and mine alone

Not yet really but that reality may be coming soon to America. I am from the Pacific Northwest coast and I have seen the harsh attitudes around me true enough though. Sometimes as a white male such as myself you do get feel like the presupposed villain among other numbers of people from other cultures, or sexes and therefore it is like sometimes I feel am expected to always just take the role of an ashamed soul that 100% deserves any his crap he gets because he happens to have Caucasian skin and have a culture as such. I have heard from some seemingly normal rational people say that they will never forgive my race when they thought I wasn't around to hear it. Anyway if I do become the ultimate villain in America some day with all other walks of people hating on me just because I am Caucasian then I will adjust to it or make back up plans.. like maybe not living in America if it got way too bad. I am not adverse to other cultures that aren't adverse to mine. Does anyone have the gall to wonder why that is? I may not be perfect by far but living out someones nightmare of unending hostility or non forgiveness for any reason is nothing I am required to do at all full stop.

Not quite.. but it's only a matter of time. It's already happening in Canada. Look at Vancouver for example, it's like 50% Asian. But, I'm not worried because all that matters is that our culture doesn't change. And, especially in the US (not so much in Canada).. any immigrants "assimilate" and act "white" so the minority doesn't really turn into the majority..it's just that the majority takes on different shades now.
I'm all for it.. I just don't really like it when people come to the west and try to keep their culture (ie: don't learn English or refuse to practice western traditions such as using deodorant and bathing)

I sure ain't the majority around these parts (I'm asian, only 3% of the population). You know why asians aren't the majority, because the US government blocked asians in the late 1800s to the 1960s.
In a previous question I asked, why does Hollywood cast 70% roles to whites...because whites account for 70% of the population.
So maybe it's the 30% that people see in the media do they think...are the minorities taking over?

Sounds like a trick question, when a minority becomes a majority, it ceases to be the minority anymore.

You advise we are united when we deprive US electorate their Fourth change rights through making them "tutor" that they are electorate. possibly a nationwide identity card should be a lot less divisive. possibly you advise we are heading interior the incorrect direction because we deprive a phase of the inhabitants the privilege of marriage. Oh, i comprehend, you advise helping one yet another out through sanctioning torture... or fabricating info and mendacity to individuals and the Congress about WMDs. or perhaps once you assert we ought to continually help Arizona, you advise searching any incorrect way at the same time as agencies and persons employ those unlawful immigrants so as that they do no longer ought to pay their justifiable percentage of payroll taxes, and do not ought to pay a residing salary. Or, possibly you basically advise that we may be able to stay a "United" States through doing purely what you want to do.
