I have 2 rabbits and to me they are easier to take care of than cats and dogs. The rabbits I have are in door rabbits, I have learned that you decrease a rabbits life expectancy in half by having them be outdoors. I buy the pellet mix that contains dried fruits and veggies they love this. Never feed a rabbit ice berg lettuce they can have romaine. Carrots, apples, dried bananas are also great, no corn husks as these will kill them. Also until your rabbit is a year old you should ONLY feed them the pellets as their tummies are not ready for fruits and veggies. Make sure they have plenty of water and soft bedding (pine chips work great I have found) and some like to have little houses to run in and out of. Bunnies can be very social so make sure you pay them lots of attention and love on them as much as possible. Good luck with your rabbit.

Rabbits make good pets. You don't say if this rabbit will be indoors or outdoors. A good quality rabbit pellet is best to feed. Rabbits also like Alfalfa hay to eat. Keep in mind they are vegetarians. Rabbits like vegetables. Don't feed lettuce as it will give your bunny diarrhea. Make sure when you hold the bunny, you support the back legs or the bunny will scratch you because he/she feels insecure. Never pick a bunny up by the ears. You can pick them up by the loose skin on the back of the shoulders and support their back legs. Rabbits do not tolerate heat very well. If it is hot make sure the bunny has plenty of cool water. Freeze a bottle of water and place it in the cage with the bunny. Always make sure there is plenty of shade for the bunny to get into and a cage that provides shelter from the elements.

He appears just a little obese, however it is difficult to inform from simply portraits. Run your give up him- If you'll consider his ribs and backbone, however are not able to see them, then he is superb. If you are having concern feeling his backbone or ribs, then he is more commonly obese. What do you feed him? Edit- If he is below 10lbs, be certain the pellets are sixteen% protein and no less than 20% fiber.
