he needs a sports psychologist...he said to the media it was all nerves in brisbane...and it's to do with being mentally strong...i've never seen him get angry or intimidate anyone...act like he's 6ft7in(2.01m) rather than a mouse...even mcgrath who is skinny(but tall) gets angry and intimidates...he has a lot of ability(so i'm told) yet needs the right pitch...bouncy etc...that's cr@p...have a look at the stats and graphs of where his deliveries land-anywhere and everywhere!...mcgraths and co. all land just short of full length just outside off stump...apart from a few bouncers...he bores u to death has a plan and gets u out...on any pitch...same as warne...steve harmison really needs a cricket education...the pressure is on and he's failed miserably under the pressure for several reasons...homesickness included(so he has stated in media also!?)...what he needs is a plan- plan a, plan b then c, then d, etc...no excuses...he wants to play...then he practises...if he hasn't played...u dont play him...til he practises...he needs a cricket education with the greats maybe...lillee offered...!! some are great for a reason...good luck to him though...poor pr1ck...

I say give the poor lad a chance, it is a very nervy tournament, and with likes of shane warne who is also not bowling very well in the second test, it just shows that nerves can get to anyone... Harmy is a local lad to me and he is a superb cricketer, hence his place on the ashes squad...so lets stop worrying about the bad points and concentrate on supporting the cricket.....

Harmy only wakes up if you put him on a nice bouncy pitch with plenty of pace. Otherwsie he seems to have no confidence in his own ability - and it comes through in some very average bowling.

He has been woefully out of form and nothing seems to be clicking for him. It is really a pity that such a promising bowler fails the hit form when really required.

I reckon hes just out of form, look at Jason Gillespie and how bad he bowled last ashes campaign. He'll come right give him time and practice
