Is there a tool for eBay that automatically posts a higher bid when you get outbid? If I'm away from my computer and want to make sure I win the auction per say.

Thanks!

When a person puts in a maximum bid ebay automatically bids higher each time on their behalf, until their maximum bid amount is reached. So even though it seems like they are outbidding you every second, it's just the automated system working. Your best bet when bidding on ebay is to put in the most you are willing to pay for an item as a maximum bid, and then just let it go, it will automatically bid for you up to that amount. Let's say you put in a maximum bid of 50 dollars for something, and you end up being the winner at 23 dollars when the auction ends, you not only win but only pay the 23 dollars, not the full 50.

There's a whole bunch of services out there, most require you to pay, but also have free trail periods.

Some are:

eSnipe - http://www.esnipe.com/
Auction Sniper - http://www.auctionsniper.com/
Bidnapper - http://www.bidnapper.com/
Powersnipe - http://www.powersnipe.com/
BayGenie- http://www.baygenie.com/

Happy sniping! :)

Cheers.

google bid sniping

you wouldn't need to use such a program if you bid the maximum amount you are willing to spend when you first bid.

please learn what proxy bidding is.
