Any brand of printer should work with any computer, provided you have the correct drivers, except printers designed for Mac's and Apples, they may or may not work, depending. I have used HP, Dell and Canon printers, all without any conflicts, but my favorite is Canon. They have all-in-one printer, scanner, copiers that do a great job for the price. Dell all-in-ones also do a great job. The best ones are flatbed all-in-ones, the bigger the platten, the better. Most printer brands have a wide price range, and for Canon and Dell, I think the cheaper ones do an acceptable job. You can browse them at usa.canon.com, dell.com or hp.com, or do a search for the website of any brand you like. If you're running Windows XP, just about any printer will work. Our inspiron 1000 worked great with a dell A-920, and I'm sure any Dell PC will do fine with all Dell printers, but we like the results we get from the Canon PIXMA MP-170 much better, especially with picture printing & scanning! We also like that we can use regular, or high capacity ink cartriges in it, and we got it for $74.95 about a year ago! It also has slots for camera memory cards & a USB port on the front, and can print pictures straight from them, without turning the computer on! It's pretty hard to beat a deal like that!

I've got the Dell All In One 810, and IT ROCKS!!!
I can't imagine it's very expensive, my Mom bought it for me, and she's definitely fiscally conservative!!!
Check it out on Dell.com!
