Has anyone had to deal with 2 of your friends going out and hearing from both of them every fight they had (which is A LOT) and you're just stuck there not listening to all they're saying not wanting to say anything bad about either of them?

I can't say "Oh, there are better people out there" or "You deserve better" or "Yeah, he/she can be like that" etc.

Ya gotta be careful with what you say to them. Because they're BOTH your friends.

And now these 2 people are broken up. They're still talking like friends, and yet they're still fighting like they used to. And again, I'm still hearing from both of them about their fights.

I get stuck on what to tell them. I can't really say much to them. All I can really say is, "I think it's best if you don't talk to them for a while." Because they're just really frustrated with each other. They both already talked about not talking anymore, but they still keep at it. Blah!

Anyone have a similar situation?

Sit them both down right now and say: "You two need to leave me out of it. Stop putting me in the middle. You're both my friends, so complaining to me about one another is really frustrating me. I will not ever ever ever take a side. So stop it!"
That ought to do it. Especially if you do it when they're both together.

No I haven't been in a similar situation before and I hope it would never happen to me lol. But I should think that if I were you, I would be straightforward with them and tell them, preferably individually, that you're uncomfortable being the one caught in the middle. That it's obvious that they are having problems but seeing that you're close to both of them, they should try to resolve it by doing some straight talking with each other, alone. Perhaps you can advice them to set up a truce. If they care anything for you at all, they would at least try to avoid fighting or try to get along with each other when you're around. It's going to be hard hanging out with them in such a tense atmosphere but it's worth it when they know how you feel about all this. So yeh, all you can do is pray HARD that they'll get over this quickly hey?
Good luck!
