I have noticed a lot of the same things you have. From celebrity worship, to fashion, to drug addiction, and a whole slew of other useless topics. It amazes me just how many people focus so much of their valuable energy on subjects and activities that will only diminish the potential for a brighter future. I sometimes find myself feeling so sad. I know so many young people who are so completely misguided and ignorant, it sickens me. Forget politics, and religion. The fact that so many of the youth have never been taught, or have just decided to stop thinking for themselves. They get spoon fed so much useless information, and spend so much time on worthless causes.
Oprah said this, Britney said that, Tom and Katie, Paris and the like. These have become the worthy topics of the day. Not, how can I do better, what can I do to help, how can I learn that.
I am truly scared of one thing in this world. Not terrorists, not global warming, not pollution, not bird flu. I'm not even scared of Hilary Clinton. What I do fear is that we are handing the reigns of the world over to a completely unprepared group of social misfits. God, if you believe in him or not, save us from this retched future. Give me the strength to teach the willing, and stifle the unwilling.
As for the future.....We can only hope.

Maybe if your generation had paid some attention to our generation instead of putting us in front of a television because you were to lazy to deal with the problem of raising a child we wouldn't have so many rhetorical, idiotic questions.
Oh and I am sure that once you are dead, either we all die also, or we become the "furture" of this country. At least we are asking political, philisophical, and spiritual questions, instead of trying to degrade an entire generation based on the fact that it is easy to mistype a word when you are going at 70 words a minute.

Well i guess they did not have any good teachers. So you got yourself to blame. I do recall you people smoking weed and tripping on acid back in the 60's, and you want to judge us. Besides most people do not feel the Internet as an important issue and do not put alot of brain power into what is said here. We got more important things to worry about. The net is entertainment, relax!......o' and how was my spelling lol hahahaha

Just imagine how much we could get if we could bottle all this and sell it at the local Wal-Mart.
