Palmolive soap is mild and very soft on hands, so it would proabably have the same effect as you soaking your hands in just pure water, and wrinkle your skin.

Soaking your fingers in a soapy solution will soften your nails and cuticles so you can do a better manicure. That is the purpose of doing it.
