Difference between GLI and XLI:
GLI has key less entry ( costs Rs 1000 if you fit it outside)
Wooden finish panels( Not very important)
Metal finsihes in the boot etc

Camry XLI is very spacious and convenient for 5 people. The boot is really big, you can perhaps accommodate a 2 wheeler!!

The cabin is noiseless, controls are excellent. The ABS comes in action as soon as you try a hard braking.Great for Indian conditions.Once you try automatic, you will never settle for Geraed vehicle.Enjoy the ’Nirvana’ of automatic transmission.

What sucks is that for the money invested can’t camry give a standard DVD player? It has kept casette player only.Ofcourse DVD player costs just 5000Rs.Having invested 22 Lacs, will anyone try to save 5000Rs on DVD player. Also, I feel this model should come with Alloy wheels. But Toyota has put plastic wheel covers.Very disapoointed. It costs about 25000 Rs extra for ally wheels.

Toyota has not understood Indian concept of ’value for money’ and will pay dearly in the coming decade.

The Engine is really sexy, arrangements and cabin conveniences are par excellence.I am damn happy. There are very spacious glove compartment, tea cup holder, arm rest etc etc.The cabin is really cozy and is our second family home. We have driven 2000 Kms in 2 months.

While travelling, take excuse from narrow raods. This car is slightly broader and negotiating in narrow raods is bit difficult.

Compared to compettitors, I vouch for this for purposes of safety and stability alone.Plus this car is known for reliability. No worry until 200,000 KMs.Solid built!!

Driver/Passenger air bags add to your safety. Many fine features are given that are not really necessary-For example, load cell in Front paeenger to indicate about seat belt.Costly proposition and unnecessary!!

Varies from manufacturer to manufactuer but generally speaking XLI is costlier and with more goodies than GLI.

from my past experiences XLI were the base models and GLI were the middle of the range models.
