They are both Intel, but the Pentium is better. The Celeron is their "low-cost" alternative. It uses shared memory architecture.

M coz all celerons r sh*t. If u compare a celeron D and a pentium 4, the pentium 4 is still better becoz celerons r just cheap stuff.

Forget about Celeron if you can afford to buy Pentium 4 which is really better !

the Celeron CPU's can be called "entry level" processors...and will cost less
for faster performance go with the Pentium M CPU
