Hi
There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.

1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it'll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.

2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

Same for furniture.

It's really simple. Put a couple sheets of paper towel down on the carpet or on the piece of furniture. You can put a sheet of waxed paper on top of that if you want. Take an iron and iron over the paper towel. The iron melts the wax and the paper towel wicks it up. Presto, no more wax!

You can use an iron as explained above or you can use a solvent like gasoline, the iron may burn your carpet leaving a ugly stain while the gasoline would dissolve the wax, then just clean the carpet and apply some perfume to soften the gasoline odor..☺

Goo Gone,or stronger solvent called oops. or you can use an iron to melt it an a towel to blot it up in your carpet but on furniture like a table use a hair dryer and a towel to wipe it up.

put paper towels or newspapers over the spot, then get out an iron and iron over the paper towels. You might go through alot of paper towels but it will work.
