Well since it is a Christmas party, I would buy as much Christmas lights as I can. Lighting is very important to a party and can change the whole mood of a place or party. You should just over due it with the lights and string it across the ceiling. Have some Christmas music playing softly so that if it's dead, theres some type of noise going on. Make the party food easy, finger foods, and less messy. Crackers, meat, cheese, veggie w/dip, chips, etc. Hope you have a good time. I love planning parties!

I wouldnt go towards anything that has the word COMPOUND in it unless it is a military base. Remember Waco?
