HI FRIEND!! THERE IS A SCIENTIFIC REASON BEHIND IT:-
A VIRUS CALLED "BACTERIOPHAGE" IS FOUND IN THE WATER OF RIVER GANGA WHICH KILLS OTHER HARM FULL BACTERIA INVADING THE WATER THEREFORE THE WATER OF RIVER GANGA DOESN'T SPOIL WHEN STORED FOR MANY DAYS IN A BOTTLE!!!!

It is GANGA the Holy river descended from Heaven after long prayer by King Bhagirath of Lord Vishnu ji and Lord Shiva ji, so it's water will never spoil, though the people have made it dirty.
This is the only truth for Ganga River.

As one who has travelled up to Gangothri and Gomukh, (the mouth of Cow) the starting point of Ganga in the Himalayas, I can tell one reason. On the way from Gangnani to Gangothri in the upper regions of Himalayas you can see waterfalls from hot sulphur springs join Ganga at various places. Even the rocks have become yellow in some such places. At Gangnani you can take bath in the hot water sulphur springs. It is a scientific fact that Sulphur destroys bacteria. There may be other valid reasons too for the purity of Ganga.

Do you mean the River Ganges, or the river of smoke that is high-grade marijuana called ganga? The reason the River Ganges doesn't spoil is that it is already spoiled from everyone in India cleansing themselves in it of their diseases.
