12/8 here. Of course, Sagittarius is the sign of the archer. I think something tasteful like the Sag symbol would be nice. The animal that represents the sign is a centaur - half man, half horse. Celtic Sagittarius here. While the centaur is sometimes used as the symbol for Sagittarius, Orion the Hunter is the actual constellation. He is usually seen drawing a bow with a knife hanging from his waiste.

I'm a Sagittarius too!!! Dec.18th!!! I have been thinking about getting a tattoo of of our symbol as well which is the half horse/half man. I think we have a unique symbol and it would look great as a tattoo.
