Take yourself on a trip south back to the City, and go to the SM mall and find the French Bakery. You will fit in well. Its a meeting spot for desparate filipinas to hook up with older less fortunate men. Its also where the classy women are laughing really hard at the girls who are there getting the hookup. Poor girl had to help Father Time with his walker. Trust me I was there laughing too right next to my hard to get filipina woman.
Sorry to be rude, but If I was in your situation, I would've said to hell with it and stayed single. Thats too much trouble to get a woman who is going to leave you as soon as the two year conditional visa is over with. Sorry, just stating the statistics.

For starters , get rid of the rug.
You are just setting yourself up for a big let down. Just because your going to a third world country it doesnt mean woman/girls are going to be climbing all over you hoping you will marry them and whisk them away to america and the good life.
Sure you will find plenty of gold diggers and prostitutes but do you realy want to marry someone who you have only known for a couple of days and will run at the first oppertunity or use you until they can legaly stay here in america. Take some advice buddy, have fun with the hookers and gold diggers but dont give any of them a ring. Go back home after your vacation and start looking for someone who is sincere and loving. If it should happen to be a girl from the philippines then good but dont rush into anything or you will be sorry in the end. Take time to know her and court her, your only 49, you can afford to take a year or even two to get to know someone that will love you forever

Take a thorough look at this site before you go, I am sure you will find it most informative and help you avoid problems. The chap that put the site up is living there and was originally from the USA. He covers almost everything and what he has put on his site seems well researched or from personal experience:
www.livinginthephilippines.com
Another site to look at is the government sites which you can get links back from the tourism one below:
www.tourism.gov.ph
I have met someone through a site called meetic, she is a wonderful lady and I fly out from the UK at the beginning of 2007. The culture seems to be so different to the hung up British, probably worse in the USA? Anyway you will probably find the hair is not an issue, neither weight or age as they seem to have a completely diferent attitude to life. I was concerned about the age diference (I'm 57 and balding fast, well been going bald for many years) but it seems that many women over there respect age and prefer older men. Good luck.

Yeah, get rid of the rug. It will certainly be a turn off and if you walk around the city wearing your rug for sure you'll see girls chuckling or whispering & giggling as you pass by. Weather's hot here and certainly sweat will be dripping underneath your toupee. If you're conscious about your head to be exposed, get a baseball cap then you won't have to deal with the odd looks and whispers that your toupee be attracting if you sport it out.
I hope that you're not going after the "young" girls here. I mean girls half your age. With what you've described about yourself, you'll be vulnerable knowing that the reason they think your HOT is because you got the $$$. Just don't fall so easily to those girls who throws themselves on your feet. They're not really after you but for wallet. Get to know each girl you meet and find the one that's truthful and honest to you.
Good luck and hope you enjoy your stay here in the Philippines.

Man, its not that easy...Communication is the best way to start things up. Most Filipinas who are also looking for their better half are usually online...Try the yahoo! messenger, www.friendster.com, www.pic-link.com, www.myspace.com, etc. as starting points, most of them are in these sites. Then take it from there, if you find a stable communication with a Filipina, talk over your plans of meeting her in the Philippines. Just a little precaution though, good intentions are sometimes hard to find, this does not just apply here. Anyway, most foreigners who go to the Philippines never fail to say the hell-i-love-it-here line...So enjoy your stay, man!

Have a good trip! From the women of your dreams, choose the best one and she'll surely reward you with her loyalty. You can forget about that toupee. Guys here are getting to like their hair cut too short, almost bald or skinhead.

Oh, where are you from? Here in the Philippines, there's a need for courtship and dating. Well, don't worry, I am sure someone will marry you. Just search for your lucky star. But then, you long for "women of my dreams", so hope you can chase the rainbow to find your women.
Hope you find your "women"; and enjoy your stay here. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOUR TRIP!!!!!!

If you missed the boat, I'm pretty sure another one is coming. Just pay the right price and you're on board.
What am I saying?
Anywayz, I think you look cool! Just be yourself and who knows, wedding bells might just be ringing.

Lose the tupee , bald is where its at . as for your weight and age , that won't matter as much . Be polite , be yourself , and try to get to really know the people . Don't go for the " let me introduce you to my sister" line that can be bad . Have fun !!! Just be careful .
