My boyfriend has to buy someone scrapbooking stuff for Christmas, but neither of us know much about it. He wants to spend $20-$25 on the gift. If you could receive $25 worth of scrapbooking stuff, what would you want to get as a gift?

It's really hard to buy stuff for people who scrapbook, only because with scrapbooking, like clothing, everyone has different tastes and styles. I would stick with the basics that everyone would use.
A Xyron X (Sticker Maker) and then some refills...
A Tape Runner (double sided tape for scrapbooking) and then some refills...
A good pair of sb'ing scissors (Cutterbees by EK Success are the best IMO)...
Making Memories has some magnetic stamps where you can make your own phrases with magnetic alphabet rubber stamps....these come in handy for me.
Maybe a gift card to a local scrapbook supply store or for a photo processing service.
I would stay away from patterend paper....
Bazzill cardstock in a bunch of different colors would be a dream come tru.
Your possibilities are endless. Have fun shopping.

I am a major scrapbooker! The silent setter is a great product I spent about seven dollars on mine, but I saw it the other day for four dollars. Don't waste your money on stickers. Vellum saying are great. You can never go wrong with all different kinds of paper. If you want a good book get one from creative memories. They make the best but they are not cheap $30 Stamps are also great but don't buy wood mounted only get them if they are acrylic. And my most favorite I use it for everything tool. A simple paper cutter. They cut pictures too. If you need help putting it all together you can email me. I hope this helped just go to your local craft store. Although I live in Utah so it is a big deal around here. (we have big families)

Scrapbook because it is like an album but with a few more knick knacks as a reminder of the past experiences.

You can buy some really pretty sets. It comes in a pack and contains really nice assorted papers and other things like stickers and borders and stuff. And then you can add things to it like extra stickers and things. Just go to where they sell scrapbooking stuff and you will be able to choose - theres heaps to choose from.
