Good question oh cheeky one!
I have quite a few lyrics that strike a chord, some of them are:
"Did you come here for forgiveness,
Did you come to raise the dead
Did you come here to play Jesus
To the lepers in your head" from One by U2 - in fact the whole of that song is awesome, I also like the line "you ask me to enter, and then you make me crawl....."
Midnight Oil have some top lyrics "ghost gums dance in the moonlit night" - great imagery
Also "I can't take my hands from my face, there are some things we can't replace"
Crowded House have some great lines and so does Paul Kelly and The Whitlams.
Prince is another one of my favourites - he is such a lyrical genius and also 'The Flame' by Cheap Trick.
Oh yeh, can't forget 'From a Distance' lyrics from Bette Midler. A simple song with simple lyrics that carry a lot of weight
Back again forgot to add 'I Was Only 19" lyrics by Red Gum - dare anyone to listen to that and not get goosebumps!

I'm not really sure I can put this on open forum...it's an ICP song called "Halls of Illusion" and it has one KILLER part! The setup is that they're talking to a guy who sees his life one way when it's actually another and they (ICP) are going to give him a reality check:
